The Trophy
Well, I haven't found out if I've won or lost yet. But I did get my nifty trophy for simply being a finalist. It came today in this really nice box, and it really, really freaked me out, as I pretty much assumed they were sending me this without a phone call in consolation for not winning.
So I was very, very nervous as I opened the box. Turns out they're going to notify me one way or the other by end of day Friday, March 5. So that means between now and then, any time, I could receive a phone call. Jesus, the suspense is killing me.
Anyway, they sent me this nice crystal coke bottle as a trophy:
its very cool, in my opinion, and it's also very, very heavy. I must say, Coke is being very generous about this whole thing, and while I tend to berate huge corporations for being huge and for being corporations, I'm incredibly impressed by (and grateful for) their generosity.
I am now terrified of my phone.
